woo hoo (and small happy dance)

Celebrations and small sighs of relief

as I sent off the draft of my MFA exegesis yesterday

arty-farty fireworks pic from the school's fireworks night last week

I'm not cracking open the bottle just yet mind you -

as I still have a LONG way to go and a LOT of work to do between now and October -

(which is the end date of my candidature and opening of my examination exhibition)

but today I planted 3 little camellia japonicas beside the studio

 just to mark the occasion

(oooo there is light at the end of the tunnel!)

  1. Congratulations Ronnie on coming so far. Just knowing that milestone is close must be putting a spring in your step!

  2. That's great Ronnie! I know what an achievement this is. When I submitted my draft I was told I had done far more than was required!! Laugh! I nearly cried!!! No, seriously, I wasn't bothed because it was stuff I wanted to know about. Hopefully it's the same for you, and it'll be a smooth glide to the finale. xx

  3. Congratulations Ronnie. You have been putting in all the hard work required and soon will reap the rewards.

  4. Wonderful, Ronnie, huge congratulations! What an achievement. I know there's heaps to do still, but I'm sure all will be well. Love your photos!

  5. Congrats - I've got 2 more years but I love your ideal of planting something to mark the occasion - so with the end of my first MA year finished and passed what shall I plant?

    1. hiya rosie - nice to 'meet' you -- ooooo I'm not a plantswoman... but I reckon you can't go past HERBS -- why not choose a herb that resonates - or would be useful.... and as you add another year to your MA, you could add another herb.... then you could top it all off with a permanent 'something' at the end?

just a thought..... good luck with your studies!

  6. excellent. the first of the final steps.

  7. Oh well done, that is a very big deal!

thanks for all your lovely comments - your words are greatly appreciated xx
