an art gesture a day (aagad!) - day ten...

two kettles in conversation

or kettle kissing

{its raining cats and dogs and blowing a gale here at the creek
overnight the highway was cut near our house as trees were blown over the road
lightning and thunder and no electricity for most of the night....

and today our small boyo headed off for his first overnight school trip
I embarrassed him stupid (as only a parent can) - with a sloppy display of public affection

am now worrying and fretting (as only a parent can) about small boyo in wicked weather....}

  1. I know how you feel, I've been there and I've done exactly the same: both being silly affectionate in public (!!!) and worrying stiff for all sorts of dangers, not only weather related... The good thing is that our children survive it all, forgive us, and years later they tell us that we were -and still are- great!!!
    As for the kissing tea kettles: charmingly lovely and oh! so romantic!!!

thanks for all your lovely comments - your words are greatly appreciated xx
