overnight the highway was cut near our house as trees were blown over the road
lightning and thunder and no electricity for most of the night....
and today our small boyo headed off for his first overnight school trip
I embarrassed him stupid (as only a parent can) - with a sloppy display of public affection
am now worrying and fretting (as only a parent can) about small boyo in wicked weather....}
