in the post...

a parcel with a treasure inside...

yes it is an creature of wonder

a surprise swapped gift

from the prophet of bloom herself

it came complete with generous permission

to remake, rework and dream of possibilities...

honey hound took instant possession

proclaiming the creation highly kelpie-worthy

its perfectly suited to her colouring
making it wonderful for kelpie hide-and-seek...

other hounds can only dream of a cloak so fine...

it is a kelpie coat of many colours...

(I hate to break it to her that I have 'other' as yet unformed plans...)

  1. Wow, Ronnie, it's beautiful! I love India's work and aspire to one of her workshops one day... I can't wait to see what you'll do with the dress. I'm sure I'd be very tempted to remake at least part of it into something I could wear myself! Have fun. Sara x

    1. my chestage can't squeeze itself into the dress as-is.... hence I will be doing 'something' with the creation..... I rather like the idea of including my handy work with indias..... a whole new story can emerge don't you think? (and as I'm so short - I suspect I'll have oodles of cloth for another 'something-something'....)

  4. Oh wow Ronnie - such potential! you will make a wonderful joined up Ronnie-India piece I am sure (and I must admit Idid think it might be a wee bit long for you in its current state : ) ) Perfect kelpie cover and I love how honey took up residence so swiftly!

  6. An amazing gift/swap, Ronnie! Just to own an India creation is awe inspiring, to be able to recreate will be wonderful. Perhaps there will be a scrap left for honey hound to wear.
