snakes alive...

 beside the chook pen

a reminder to always keep your eyes open

safe inside the house a less deadly creature also keeps growing and growing....

(its now nudging just over 4m in length...)

the long slow work passing in a purple haze....

  1. I'm in love with your codex infinitum. How long do you intend it to be? Or will you end it when it feels right?

  2. I have a big box of sorted coloured sections sitting in order ready to be stitched into place..... this book isn't ending any time soon -- and given the nature and title of my research project - I don't think this beastie will ever actually be completed.... to become a closed entity.....

  3. Beautiful skin Ronnie, less good knowing the owner is hanging around the chook shed. In my house that would go straight into our museum case.

The codex infinitude looks stunning. How on earth do you store it as you work? I can see you as an old lady, with you and Farmer Phil forced into a tiny space as the rest of the house is taken over by the codex infinitude.

  4. I always think those skins are so beautiful - and then I try not to think about their owner lurking... Love how the book is coming along - so meditative, reflective and therapeutic.

thanks for all your lovely comments - your words are greatly appreciated xx
