woo hoo (and small happy dance)

Celebrations and small sighs of relief

as I sent off the draft of my MFA exegesis yesterday

arty-farty fireworks pic from the school's fireworks night last week

I'm not cracking open the bottle just yet mind you -

as I still have a LONG way to go and a LOT of work to do between now and October -

(which is the end date of my candidature and opening of my examination exhibition)

but today I planted 3 little camellia japonicas beside the studio

 just to mark the occasion

(oooo there is light at the end of the tunnel!)

  2. That's great Ronnie! I know what an achievement this is. When I submitted my draft I was told I had done far more than was required!! Laugh! I nearly cried!!! No, seriously, I wasn't bothed because it was stuff I wanted to know about. Hopefully it's the same for you, and it'll be a smooth glide to the finale. xx

  5. Congrats - I've got 2 more years but I love your ideal of planting something to mark the occasion - so with the end of my first MA year finished and passed what shall I plant?

    1. hiya rosie - nice to 'meet' you -- ooooo I'm not a plantswoman... but I reckon you can't go past HERBS -- why not choose a herb that resonates - or would be useful.... and as you add another year to your MA, you could add another herb.... then you could top it all off with a permanent 'something' at the end?

just a thought..... good luck with your studies!
